A truly unique landmark, destination, and renovation project, Middle Ground Lighthouse has caught the eye of newspapers, magazines, and TV producers across the country. The authentically restored exterior and handcrafted details within provide dramatic photo backdrops for stories, ranging from profiles in local newspapers to a nationally televised feature on HGTV. 

The Hampton Roads Daily Press newspaper was one of the first on the scene, detailing the labor of love as the lighthouse transformed from a derelict historical footnote to a modern day retreat. They were even there to film turning on the first lights after the electricity was installed.
